How to Tie a Tie

Three knots

Four-in-hand is the easy everyday knot. Half Windsor is the polished choice. Full Windsor is the larger, formal knot for a wide collar.

The details

The tip lands around the top of your waistband or belt buckle. The knot sits comfortably against the collar. A small dimple below the knot adds shape. If the length is off, try again.
